I&#039;ve been startled by how useful I&#039;ve found Julia Child&#039;s cookbooks. &quot;The Way to Cook&quot; is also free of all those strictures that the French place on their cuisine (which you&#039;ll notice in &quot;Mastering The Art&quot;).

I&#039;ve been using &quot;How to Cook Everything&quot; the same way that you&#039;ve been using &quot;The Joy of Cooking&quot;. I&#039;ll have to put Irma Rombauer back into my rotation.</description>
